Research

As a PhD candidate in the Lindo Ancient DNA Lab, I specialize in both the molecular and computational aspects of genomics research, taking an integrative approach to understanding population genetics through whole genome sequencing and statistical modeling. My primary research interests are in elucidating the effects of different evolutionary pressures on the human genome in the context of important environmental changes—such as the advent of agriculture, life at high-altitude, and pathogens—using ancient DNA.
