Research
My research interests rest at the intersection of health and law as I aim to examine their collective impact on the lives of women and children in the U.S. criminal justice system. I am particularly interested in exploring the ways by which violence shapes the “abuse to prison pipeline” as experienced by incarcerated women.
Interest areas: Maternal and child health, violence, mental health and criminal justice.
