My primary research interests are studying the hormonal mechanisms behind certain social behaviors and social learning. I’m interested in how the evolution of prosocial traits may shape the emergence of complex social systems like language and culture. Additionally, I’m interested in cross-species approaches to understanding how these traits evolved in different contexts. Finally, I'd like to explore how this research can be applied to understanding and predicting how animals adapt to changing, human-dominated habitats.
