Research

I am a graduate student with a Bachelor’s degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I also hold a Master’s degree in Society and Culture from IIT Gandhinagar, as well as a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Sociology from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. My research explores the complexities of urban inclusion and exclusion, focusing on how infrastructure and the intersections of class and caste shape social interactions in Indian cities, particularly in Chandigarh. I examine how social hierarchies and spatial planning influence patterns of inequality, access, and belonging in contemporary urban spaces.
